About SBIRT

Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) is an evidence-based practice used to identify, reduce, and prevent problematic use, abuse, and dependence on alcohol and illicit drugs.

In partnership with community medical providers, Hegira Health, Inc. offers SBIRT services in a variety of healthcare settings in Wayne County’s western and downriver communities. Our SBIRT teams work directly with medical practitioners to promote optimal wellness. Services include substance use assessment, patient education, brief treatment, action planning, interaction with peer recovery coaches, referral to external resources and long-term intervention and follow-up services and supports.

"Pagsusuri, Maikling Pamamagitan at Referral sa Paggamot (SBIRT)"

Nakabatay sa komunidad ang screening, referral at follow-up na serbisyo na ibinigay sa pakikipagtulungan sa mga klinika ng komunidad at mga setting ng ospital.

Ang SBIRTay isang diskarte na nakabatay sa ebidensya upang matukoy ang mga indibidwal na gumagamit ng alak at iba pang mga droga (substance) sa mga peligrosong antas. Ang SBIRT ay ipinakita na wasto at maaasahan sa pagtukoy at pagpapabuti ng mga resulta para sa mga taong gumagamit ng mga sangkap.
