Adult Outpatient Clinic Care
Adult Behavioral Health Outpatient Treatments
The behavioral health clinic care services at HHI are offered to adults over 18 years old and their families on site at our clinics and through telehealth. Assessment, treatment, and medication assisted care is available to all consumers. Treatment planning is based on individual assessment of needs, are strength-based and forward focused. Our clinicians, prescribers, care managers and certified peer supports are committed to helping guide all individuals 18 years and older experiencing mental health and/or substance use challenges Individuals are offered individual, group, and/or family services, based on individual assessment and identified along the path of healing so that each individual can achieve their maximum life goals.
We offer access to various levels of treatment, ensuring that individuals receive the appropriate care and support they need to manage their mental health effectively. Intensive, targeted symptom reduction and/or longer-term services are available for adults with serious mental illness and young adults with first episode psychosis.

Care Management
Our dedicated care management team, care managers, care coordinators and case managers, work closely with individuals and their families to ensure support, self-care and a high quality of overall care is achieved across the healthcare spectrum. Care managers take a personalized approach to identify each individual’s needs to identify and then coordinate healthy and health resources both within and outside of Hegira Health. Maintaining physical health, assurances that basic needs can be met and developing a social, recreational and spiritual support network are just a few examples of the broad scope of the coordination our services management team offers.
Certified Peer Supports
Our Peer Support team are persons with lived experience who have successfully managed their mental illness and have completed certification training offered through the state of Michigan. Peer Supports offer unique perspectives through non-clinical support to others facing similar challenges they have overcome. Peer support services are offered in individual, group and family settings and are available on site at our clinics, in the community and through telehealth. Peers help individuals struggling with mental illness by encouraging goals and supporting strategies that build confidence and self-esteem. Research shows that people who engage with a peer support specialist have fewer relapses and fewer hospital admissions.
Residential Home Care Coordination
Our residential care management team provides support to our community’s Adult Foster Care (AFC) and Semi-Independent Living (SIL) home providers and their teams. Residential case managers ensure that the providers in the AFC and SIL environments are supported so that they can provide the best community living services to the individuals in their care. The residential case managers also monitor and support individuals through regular visitation and care coordination.
Housing and Vocational Services
Our care management team coordinates supported housing and employment services.

Our housing services support individuals with income to secure housing by combining the individuals resources with available community resources to make independent living possible and sustainable.

Our supported employment program is supported by the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) program. IPS care managers work with individuals interested in competitive employment to connect them with community businesses to establish partnerships that will support individuals in securing lasting employment.
Community Intervention Services (CIS)
CIS is a unique, intensive service provided to consumers stepping down from an inpatient hospital setting. CIS provides up to 90 days of intensive 24-7 services, preparing clients to be successful in traditional outpatient services through evidence-based practices, CIS works with individuals who experienced suicidal or a recent self-harm crisis.
